Our RV Journey Begins: Meet the Couple Behind the Wheel

Hey there, fellow wanderers! Welcome to our dazzling new corner of the internet – "Away We Tow"! We're Dani and Nicki, the dynamic duo celebrating a blissful decade of marriage this August. Buckle up for the ride as we share our journey into full-time RV living – packed with laughs, love, and a whole lot of adventure!

Jumping into Full-Time RV Living!

Picture this: Florida, University of Florida – where our story started when we met at 19. Fast forward through Law School, living in NYC, a career change (or two), moving back to FL and here we are, remote saas (software as a service) sales professionals, taking our office on the road.

We've always dreamt of living tiny, and we almost went for a tiny house in NYC (unclear where we were going to park it). But we got cold feet (probably for the best). I guess we're making up for that now with our 2023 Grand Design 2670MK travel trailer. It’s 32 ft of travel trailer bliss. We jumped feet first into full-time RV living in June of 2023, and have spent the last 7 months learning on the fly. Now that we are settled in, we thought we’d start writing some stuff down to remember and to share. So, here is a little intro to us. This is definitely not an exhaustive post, but it should cover the basics and hopefully it keeps you interested enough to keep reading along as we post our stories, tips, tricks, and mishaps.

RV Life with Our Pets!

Our squad wouldn’t be complete without our furry BFFs – meet Lanie and Lily, the “Schnauzer Sisters”. They're one of the reasons we started this epic adventure. (We’ll get to that later)

Traveling with pets is a game-changer. From their antics at the campground to being our snuggly pups to cuddle with when it's rainy or cold – these furballs are more than pets; they're our road trip buddies.

We will have frequent photos of them featured here since they are so cute, and they love adventures just like us!

Rolling in Style: Our RV and Tow Vehicle

Say hi to our rolling home – ”Wrigley” a 32-foot Grand Design beauty on wheels towed by “Rosie”, our 2022 RAM 2500 Laramie 4x4. Stylish (especially after some much needed decor), comfy, and the perfect backdrop for our crazy adventures.

Our RV is more than just a place to crash; it's our canvas for creativity. Movie nights, guitar sing-a-longs, old fashioned cocktails – it's seen it all. And the best part? Decorating and organizing the RV has been a fun challenge, making it work for us, one corner and organizing bin at a time.

The Adventure Chronicles: Work and Play on the Road

Work? Sure, we do that, but life's about way more than that! When we're not typing away in our cozy trailer (or from the picnic table), we're out there living our best lives. Snowboarding, kayaking, ebiking – anything for a thrill!

Our adventures? Oh, they go beyond the obvious. We're not just hiking trails; we're uncovering hidden gems, drinking at local festivals, and mastering the art of healthy RV cooking. Join us for the real deal – the messy, marvelous, and sometimes downright ridiculous.

No House, No Problem: Our Digital Nomad Future

Our mailing address might say Florida, but our hearts scream 'open road.' No plans for going back to our house anytime soon (which our tenants are happy about) – we're in it for the long haul.
